Seeking someone to help manage your health care at Creighton?  Recognizing that the complexity of medical care often leaves patients and their family feeling confused, the patient navigator can provide support and counseling to patients through various services, specialists and resources for good health.  The new Creighton Employee Patient Navigator is dedicated to assisting Creighton University employees navigate through health care services.  When a Creighton employee is seeking medical care with Creighton physicians and hospital services, the Patient Navigator can assist patients and their families in coordinating care, resources and health education.    

Employees and their families can direct questions to the patient navigator, who will walk you through the sometimes confusing medical environment, from registration through discharge.  She can help you get the information you need, and will assist in coordinating your medical care and ensuring proper communication between physicians, providers and patients.

The patient navigator is your advocate to answer insurance and billing questions as well as providing resources for a great experience.

Her duties don’t stop when you are discharged.  The patient navigator will follow up to be sure you understand what to do to ease your transition for the hospital and future visits.  With a patient navigator by your side, all you have to worry about is getting well.
