With the anticipated move of Osteoporosis Research Center, really, I should say we are still in the planning stages because the construction of our new site is not ready. However, we do have to be out of our current location at CUMC 601 N. 30th by June 9th, 2017.
With regards to the future location of the NOF Osteoporosis Support Group, I have decided to wait until the move is completed before choosing. There are three possibilities: the new Health Clinic on 24th and Cuming, THINK Whole person healthcare 71st and Center, or Immanuel Medical Center N. 72nd St. Each location has positives and negatives. A big positive about Immanuel is that orthopedists, physical therapy and the ORC staff will be close and I could ask them to talk to our group. I feel the need to see our new facility in addition to checking out the other two places.
Please bear with me. Have a happy and healthy spring and summer and I'll be back in touch in the fall.
