The Program for Leadership Development at the Creighton University School of Medicine supports medical faculty, residents and students in development of their leadership potential within the health care environment. Society expects physicians to be leaders within their field of expertise and in the world at large. Changes in the health care environment in recent years only increase the need for compelling and compassionate leadership in this sector and the need will continue to expand.

The Program for Leadership Development acknowledges these needs and desires and so offers programs to enhance the practice of health care leadership. The Center offers programs in Team Building, Situational Leadership, Developing One's Strengths, Leading through Diversity, and Mentoring.

On our site, you can find information on our programs, including our Seminars on the First Week, our Leading for Success Symposia, Community and Health Care Leadership and Leadership for Health Professionals curriculum for the School of Medicine.
