Faculty development for education is supported by the Office of Medical Education. Prominent visiting faculty are invited for special one-day presentations. For example:
- Sustaining curriculum reform in medical education
- Effective teaching methods for integrating clinical medicine and basic science
- Methods for improving your large group presentations
- Strategies and tips for clinical teaching
In addition, the Office offers a regular series of faculty development programs in education. For example:
- Developing a valid multiple choice test
- Directing and teaching in multi-instructor courses/clerkships
