Welcome to the Cancer Center at Creighton University Medical Center

The staff at the Cancer Center is here to provide compassionate care to individuals and families affected by cancer. There are many questions to ask and information to consider when you or a loved one is faced with cancer and surgery.

We would like to help you make these important decisions. We are proud innovators in three major areas of cancer: 1) peritoneal neoplastic diseases, 2) breast cancer through our same-day diagnostic breast care services, and 3) skin cancer and melanoma. Additionally, our staff treats a variety of solid organ tumors, such as colon, pancreas and appendix.

The Cancer Center has a strong basic science and translational research component. Our research faculty is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and through the Nebraska Smoking & Tobacco Funds.  Through research, we are developing new treatment plans and improving the quality of life for those affected by cancer.

We work with medical oncologists and radiation oncologists here at Creighton University Medical Center and in our surrounding communities.  We provide consultation and care at our Cancer Center clinic just inside the front doors of Creighton University Medical Center, Suite 2803.
