Our Residency program is a university-based program. We are currently filling four resident spots per year, with a total of 16 residents in the program as of July 2009. Residents in the program rotate at Creighton University Medical Center and Bergan Mercy Medical Center. All residents rotate through areas to include Reproductive Endocrinology, Ambulatory Medicine, Urology Clinics, and High-Risk clinics, among others.

Residents in our program earn 4 weeks of vacation per year. We have a medical leave policy in place for residents in our training program, if needed. We comply fully with the 65-hour work week for first year residents and 80-hour work week for all other residents as stipulated by the ACGME. This compliance is met in part by having a night float system in place.

Application requirements:
All applications must be submitted through ERAS. The deadline for applying to our program through ERAS is November 1. Applicants must have passed the USMLE Steps One and Two. We do not have a minimum grade requirement, nor do we require previous experience in the United States. Applicants are evaluated based on the entirety of the application, not individual exam scores.

Our residency program is accredited through the RRC until 2011.
