Dr. Khoynezhad specializes in adult cardiac surgery and endovascular aortic repair. His interests include open and endovascular treatment of various aortic pathologies, heart failure surgery and minimal invasive valve operations. Dr. Khoynezhad graduated summa cum laude from the University of Cologne College of Medicine, in Koeln, Germany and completed his general surgery residency at North Shore University-Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, N.Y. He subsequently accomplished a cardiovascular and thoracic surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and an endovascular and vascular surgery fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Prior to his training in the United States, Dr. Khoynezhad completed two years of a cardiac surgery fellowship in Charite University Medical Center in Berlin, Germany. Dr. Khoynezhad is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and American Board of Thoracic Surgery. | |
