Dr. Samuel Cemaj graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 1980. From 1981 to 1984 he completed a general surgery residency in I.M.S.S. Centro Medico La Raza in Mexico City, Mexico. He continued with General Surgery residency at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California from 1989 to 1990. From 1990 to 1993, Dr. Cemaj completed a three year residency program at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. Following the completion of his residency programs, Dr. Cemaj completed three fellowship programs, a research fellowship in Transplant Surgery at the University of Pittsburg, a Clinical Fellowship in Transplant Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and a fellowship in Trauma/Critical Care at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dr. Cemaj is board certified with the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery. Since 2003, he has held a full time faculty appointment at Creighton University Department of Surgery as an Assistant Professor of Surgery. | |
