Todd Sekundiak, MD

Dr. Todd D. Sekundiak is a full-time Assistant Professor of Surgery at Creighton University in the Department of Surgery. He earned his medical degree in 1987 from the University of Manitoba, Winnepeg, Manitoba. Then, he completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia, and an arthroplasty fellowship at the Arizona Centre for Joint Replacement in Phoenix and Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s and Central DuPage Hospitals in Chicago.  Since then, he has served as an assistant professor in the department of surgery at the University of Manitoba, medical director of the Manitoba Bone and Tissue Bank, head of the Subsection Adult Hip and Knee Canadian Medical Association, and the examiner of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Sekundiak is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He specializes in adult joint reconstruction using minimally invasive techniques and also specializes in revision of mostly lower extremity failures. His research interests include outcomes management of these cases.
