The Distinguished Continuing Medical Education Faculty Award is awarded to a faculty member who:

  • has been actively involved in CME activities
  • has received positive reviews for presentations at CME activities
  • has worked closely with the CME Division in developing CME conferencesis open to trying new ideas, and represents the Creighton philosophy and spirit

   The Continuing Medical Education Committee selected Lee E. Morrow, MD, MSc to receive this award based on the criteria mentioned above.  Dr. Morrow has been and Critical Care Medicine Conference, and is a presenter for many other Creighton CME programs, including the Primary Care Update in Okoboji and the Women’s Health in the 21st Century.  He has also assisted with the CME Outreach program by developing lectures for presentation at rural regional hospitals.  Dr. Morrow is also the program director for the Pulmonary and Critical Care Regularly Scheduled Series.

   Dr. Morrow is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Pulmonary & Critical Care Division.  Dr. Morrow currently serves as chairman of the Continuing Medical Education Committee and is a member of the CME Program Review Subcommittee.   

   Dr. Morrow’s other activities and commitments, too numerous to mention, make him an active and invaluable member of the university community.

   Because of these many contributions to Creighton University, it is with great pleasure we present the Distinguished Continuing Medical Education Faculty Award to Lee E. Morrow, MD, MSc.
