Application Timeline

June 1

AMCAS Application Process Opens: 

The Office of Medical Admissions reviews applications on a rolling admissions procedure.  Due to this fact students are encouraged to complete the application process as early as possible.

July 1

Secondary Application Opens:  

All applicants who submit a verified AMCAS application to Creighton will receive an email detailing how to complete the secondary application process.

September 1

MD and MD/PhD Interviews Begin: 

Interviews are offered from September through March.

October 15

MD Admission Decisions: 

Applicants begin to receive notifications of admission decisions.  Notifications will be released until the class is full.

November 1

AMCAS Application Deadline: 

November 15  

AMCAS Transcript(s) Deadline

January 15

MD and MD/PhD Secondary Application Deadline

March 15

MD/PhD Admission Decisions

April 30

Acceptance Deposit Refund Deadline

July 15

Creighton Transcript(s) Deadline:

1.      All students matriculating in the Fall M1 Class are required to submit final transcript(s) from each institution they attended. 

2.      Students are also required to submit transcript(s) stating "Degree Earned" from institutions where a degree was conferred.

Please Note:  Transcripts submitted to AMCAS do not fulfill this requirement.

ROLLING ADMISSIONS



The Office of Medical Admissions reviews applications on a rolling admissions procedure (applications are reviewed as they become complete).  Due to this fact we encourage all applicants to complete the AMCAS and Supplementary application procedures as early as possible.
