APPLICATION TIME LINE



June 1



All applicants are able to complete and submit the AMCAS application.

Please Note:  The Office of Medical Admissions reviews applications on a rolling admissions procedure.  Due to this fact students are encouraged to complete the application process as early as possible.

 

July 1

 

Secondary Application Released:  All applicants who submit a verified AMCAS application to Creighton will receive an email detailing how to complete the secondary application process.

 

August 1

   

Early Decision Applicants:

AMCAS application deadline.

 

August 1

 

Early Decision Applicants:

Deadline for transcript(s) to be submitted to AMCAS.

 

September 1

 

Early Decision Applicants:

Deadline for submission of the following application credentials to the Creighton University School of medicine Office of Medical Admissions:

  • Supplemental Application
  • Application Fee
  • Letters of Recommendation
  • Photograph

 

 

Early Decision Applicants:

Interviews begin.

 

 

Regular Cycle Applicants:

Interviews begin.  Interviews continue through March.

 

October 1

 

Early Decision Applicants:

Applicants notified of admissions decision.

 

October 15

 

Regular Cycle Applicants:

Applicants begin to receive notifications of admission decisions.  Notifications will be released until the class is full.

 

November 1

 

AMCAS Application Deadline.

Deadline for submission of transcript(s) to AMCAS.

 

January 15

 

Deadline for submission of the following application credentials to the Creighton University Office of Medical Admissions:

  • Supplemental Application
  • Application Fee
  • Letters of Recommendation
  • Photograph

 

May 15

 

Deadline to withdraw acceptance in order to receive a deposit refund.

 

July 15

 

Deadline to submit final credentials needed for matriculation to the Office of Medical Admissions:

  • Transcript(s) stating "Degree Earned"
  • Background Check

 

Please Note:  Transcripts submitted to AMCAS do not fulfill this requirement.

ROLLING ADMISSIONS



The Office of Medical Admissions reviews applications on a rolling admissions procedure (applications are reviewed as they become complete).  Due to this fact we encourage all applicants to complete the AMCAS and Supplementary application procedures as early as possible.
