World-famous investigator, teacher and researcher, Henry T. Lynch, M.D. is a tremendous asset to the Department of Preventive Medicine. His groundbreaking research revealed a link between certain cancers and heredity and led to the discovery of Lynch syndrome, a hereditary form of colon cancer.
In 2015, Lynch's dedication to Creighton and cancer research was recognized with the unveiling of the Henry Lynch Cancer Centers at CHI Health Bergan Mercy and CHI Health Immanuel.
