Education & Training

Richard P. Bose, Jr., M.D., joined Creighton University in the Department of Anesthesia.  He serves as an assistant professor of anesthesia at Creighton University School of Medicine.

His areas of clinical interest include diagnostic and therapeutic injections, radiofrequency neuroablation therapy and neuroaugmentation therapy.  

Bose earned his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in 1983. He completed an internship at Youngstown Hospital Association in Youngstown, Ohio, and an anesthesiology residency at Western Reserve Care System in 1987.  

Bose is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and earned subspecialty certification in pain management as recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.  Prior to joining Creighton Medical Associates, Bose served as a staff physician for MidWest Pain Clinics in Omaha.
Bose has provided lectures on various topics in anesthesiology and pain medicine for education of physicians, nurses and the general public in Iowa and Nebraska.  He also has served as a lecturer for the Nebraska State Vocational Rehabilitation meeting.

Bose enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, running, duathlons, weight training, rock and ice climbing, cantoring and singing in his church choir.
