Phoenix Program Information
As a third- or fourth-year medical student at Creighton University School of Medicine, you have the option to study at Creighton’s Phoenix campus, the only Catholic medical school campus west of Omaha. You will be given your choice of location, and we’ll do our best to honor that request. If you are interested in training in Phoenix, we’ll add your name to a lottery and select 48 students for the 2019-2020 academic year and 60 students for the 2020-2021 through 2022-2023 academic years to finish their education in Phoenix.
The remaining 110 students will then complete their training in Omaha.
During your clinical training at our Phoenix campus, you will perform hands-on care in your second year, work with top scientists, clinicians, residents and fellows and become skilled in the latest technology and clinical innovations.
By the time you become a third- and fourth-year med student, you will have access to a variety of clerkships and electives in the following areas of medicine:
- Family medicine
- Internal medicine
- Radiation Oncology
Upon completing your fourth year, you’ll be ready to complete your residency in various competitive fields throughout the country.
