Creighton University sweeps Midwest Student Biomedical Research Forum

Each year, Creighton University students, especially medical and graduate students, enjoy a strong showing at the Midwest Student Biomedical Research Forum. The 2017 event, held on March 4, was no exception.

About one third of participants at the event were from Creighton, earning nine out of 17 of the awards. Award recipients were:

1st Place Medical / Professional Student Oral Presentation - $500 + Plaque

Thomas Murray, PhD, interim provost of Creighton University and professor in the Department of Pharmacology, spoke at the awards ceremony about current research activities here at Creighton University and within the state of Nebraska. Several faculty from the School of Medicine and across Creighton also served as judges for the event.
